Since attending the Vision Board workshop, I sent an email to my dissertation chair and told him that I wanted to set a date to defend. The next several weeks have certainly been hard, but I did it! Yesterday I successful defended and today I received my official notice that I have reached candidacy. I have continued to keep my Vision Board right above my computer screen, so that I can always see it and be guided by it. Before this I felt lost, but being in the workshop helped me rediscover my voice and anchor points. Again, thank you, the workshop literally changed my life!

Dr. Marie is an amazing teacher. Before taking her class, I was completely lost and was planning to drop out of college ABD. Not anymore, I now know how to complete my thesis. I've been to so many of these, but this was the first class where I actually learned something useful, and I'm 45 years old! I loved the way she presented the subject matter as something to interact with, something to live through, and something to grow with now and into the future. This course taught me that my learning is a living thing that needs to be nurtured and given a chance to grow.
